2009.02.20 Ex-Post Evaluation of FP6

The European Commission has published the ex-post evaluation of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), carried out by a high level Expert Group including the EIRMA Secretary General.

The report draws on a large amount of background material, including comments from EIRMA member companies. It contains a full account of the multiple objectives set for the programme; data and other evidence used by the Expert Group to assess the extent to which these objectives have been met; and a number of wide-ranging recommendations for the future of the Framework Programme within the political context of the European Research Area and the Lisbon process.
