Rules of the Road:  The Importance of Governance in Sharing and Protecting Company Knowledge

Special Interest Group on Knowledge Management

27 & 28 September 2018, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Summary

Governance for R&D Knowledge Management  and wider is a key issue to ensure that people feel de facto free to share information and knowledge they possess. It is all the more true when governance is well organized, with a right sharing system and a proper sharing format. It can create and secure certains advantages, and of course highlight the dynamic and positive nature of sharing Knowledge in your company.

In this meeting we will explore different approaches and solutions towards governance, who should be in charge, who can enforce the rules, what would be the roles of moderators or the one of process owners, etc. At the end of our two days, we aim to get a good overview of how this R&D KM issue is addressed in different industries and sectors and how it works out in reality.

As a participant, you will have the opportunity to learn from experts and actively share your challenges, experiences and solutions in KM governance in carousel discussions.
