Use the vBulletin Product Management System (vBulletin->Admincp->Products and Plugins->Manage Products) to uninstall Links and Downloads Manager.

As a safeguard against inadvertently destroying your database, the uninstaller does not delete the product's database tables or code files. So you can always recover your precious library by reinstalling LDM.

If you really want to kill this product, upload /extras/kill-LDM/admincp/local_links_kill.php into your *admincp* directory and point your browser at this file. This deletes the LDM database tables and removes any entries that have been placed in other VB tables.

Unless you have renamed them, LDM's php scripts have file names starting local_links, in the main forum and forum/includes directories, so simply delete all these files to get rid of LDM. Javascript file in the forums/clientscript directory have names that start ldm_. Some xml files are added to the forum/includes/xml directory, cpnav_xlinks.xml and various files with ldm in the name.
